Aston Martin V12 Zagato

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Aston Martin 1961 DB4, Zagato the Italian coachbuilder have restyled the V12 Vantage and this very special car was launched at this weekend’s Villa D’Este Concours.

Zagato went to preposterous lengths to form that awesome body. Building the shell using machines wasn’t possible, so each aluminium panel was fabricated by hand from sheet metal. The front wings alone were built from seven pieces. The road version car has kept its 6.0-litre V12 which still produces 510bhp and 420lb ft of torque. But there’s a enduro racer in the works no technical specs released yet but it will compete in the 2011 24-hour Nurburgring.
